We went through 'grimner' the characteristic of living things without using a note book in class. objective : start to build your powers of concentraton and memory recall in your classes.
2. Dichotomous keys - tools of clasification (number and spider) were defined and how to make and use them covered. a. list observations b. identify simlarities and differences c. using one pair of an observed feature to separate organism/s from the main group
e.g. (1) organism with wings .......... organism without wings ........ go to d.
'go to' means that the rest of the group of organisms need another pair of features to continue the classification process
objective: the knowledge of classification and how to use its tools h.w. you needed to practice what was done in class playng around with the observations

7. review of characteristics of invertebrates - mollusc, group arthropods focus on - crustacae, arachnids and insect and vertebrates mammals, birds etc.
chapter study outline: grimner, classification, food chain and food web, pyramids and enery flow, symbiosis and cycles.
A Great effort by many students this spr.
boys that i am worried about must 'step it up' for the test on dichotomous keys tuesday 8th oct. 2013
remember to practice using the spider and number keys you have.
There is always room for improvement.
